SI is developing a new concept for performances in bars and similar small spaces.  Bjorn Berkhout has composed a work called Bar Music for 5 core SI musicians, including hammer dulcimer.

SI founder Matthew Coley recently chosen to receive a CAAPs Grant from the City of Chicago for recording projects in 2008.  He was also chosen in 2007 to be included in Illinois Arts Council Artstour Roster. Click here to view his listing.
